Days after attending a funeral of a classmate who died from gun violence, seniors at McDonogh 35 Senior High School gathered in the auditorium Wednesday to sign and recite a pledge vowing to work to end youth violence and crime in the city.
"I will be the change agent that inspires my school and city," the pledge reads, in part.
