Mental Health

InspireNola Charter Schools are partnering with DePaul Community Health Centers, formerly Daughters of Charity Health Centers, to expand our mental health services. Available services may include individual and/or group counseling services to our students.  Students may wish to see the social worker/counselor for a variety of reasons including but not limited to: concerns about self-esteem, coping skills, stress management skills, peer interactions, anger management, divorce/separation/loss, and social skills.  Students may be referred to the social worker/counselor by parents, teachers, staff, the principal, or self. Students who wish to see the social worker/counselor must have signed consent on file.

All content within sessions is kept confidential, with the exception of threats to hurt oneself, other individuals, or if the student reports any form of abuse.  As mandated reporters, all school employees are required to report disclosures of abuse to the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS)
